Description:
Our client is a well established company that offers process improvement consulting and training services to a wide variety of industries who may have government-backed project funding, particularly in the manufacturing and technology fields. They have particular expertise in Lean Enterprise, Supplier Development, Strategic Procurement, and Clean Manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and managing the client’s healthcare process improvement practice
- Participate in both strategic and tactical planning / goal setting
- Work with leadership team, marketing, and sales groups to identify target markets and help develop market penetration strategy
- Budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, problem solving, project and personnel assessment
- Training, coaching, mentoring, and personnel development to achieve a best-of-class working and project delivery environment throughout the team
- Develop advisory relationships at the C level with both prospects and clients along with secondary sources in the market to facilitate growth strategy
- Actively participate in the business development process by collaborating on sales strategy and calls, assessing customer needs, evaluating / monitoring projects and preparing consulting proposals
- Provide team leadership and management to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved
- Work with cross functional teams both internally and externally to win the business and ensure flawless project execution and future account expansion
- Represent the company at industry meetings, presentations, etc.
- The buck stops here for meeting and exceeding client expectations
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10years of successful management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably on the consulting side
- Engineering and MBA degrees preferred
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvement practice is a must
- Knowledge and experience in Lean
- MS Office proficiency; and experience in Visio, AutoCAD, simulation tools, database applications, a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills
- Hands-on, lead by example management style
- Travel expectations 25-50%
