My client has an excellent opportunity for consumer packaged goods - Associate Brand Manager.

As the Associate Brand Manager you will report to the Sr. Brand Manager and have the opportunity to lead projects and actively participate in larger strategic company initiatives. You will support the development and execution of initiatives for a wide range of new and refreshed products including: packaging, website development/improvement, brand marketing, public relations, promotion creation/analysis, creative development, media testing, and market research coordination & analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the Sr. Brand Manager in all key project areas.
• Test new product initiatives and provide consumer data on the appeal and market potential of projects prior to launch.
• Serve as a steward for the various value brand equities—evolve and differentiate the brands through a data-based understanding of key competitive brand health measures, as well as a deep understanding of consumer trends, desires and unmet needs.
• Work collaboratively with Sales (define distribution strategies for each channel of trade) and Operations (design for operational efficiency - reduce costs without sacrificing product quality) to highlight key demand forecasting needs and provide adequate input to avoid stock outs and excess expediting.
• Assist in the translation and execution of marketing strategy.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum two years CPG experience in an entrepreneurial, brand-driven company.
• Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred.
• Identify consumer insights and develop “big ideas” to capitalize on them in the marketplace.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
