Description:Our client, a Fortune 500 company has retained us to conduct a search for a Senior Director, Labor Relations. This position will be responsible for leading the collective bargaining process, providing expert trust fund management and coordinating strategic employee communications to achieve satisfied, engaged employees in a competitive market. The candidate will work closely with the Division Presidents, the leadership teams and corporate staff to develop and implement the labor strategies. This is a tremendous opportunity to impact complex labor and employment issues with integrity and trust. The candidate must be knowledgeable on the Taft Hartley Act. Job Functions: Provide strategic Collective Bargaining Leadership. Provide Labor Relations direction to the Divisional VP’s and Divisional HR. Provide expert Trust Fund Leadership. Provide strategic communications to support bargaining goals. Provide costing analysis for all agreements. Provide VP Labor Relations all information to assure consistency. Experience: Our client must have: • Minimum of 10 years experience in labor relations, collective bargaining. • Experience in pension trust management. • Experience with negotiating multiple labor contracts. • Recent, relevant experience from a Fortune 1000 company is highly preferred. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Bachelor degree in relevant field, advanced degree preferred.
