Our client, a dynamic multi-billion dollar company in the Cincinnati area, is experiencing tremendous growth and has an immediate need for an experienced Project Engineer.  This position will report to the Director of Engineering and provide project leadership for plant engineering teams in the design and/or redesign of various facilities and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create project budgets and maintain actual cost versus budgeted figures.
• Design and development of new facility concepts, layouts, and operational plans
• Provide engineering cost estimates for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and manage field installations and start-up of new equipment or modifications to existing plants and equipment.
• Work with plant management to develop new methods and modifications that will reduce cost and increase efficiency and profitability.
• Make plant modification recommendations to plant management including layout, engineering design, cost estimates, and procedures.
• Provide engineering consultation for plant maintenance on request.  Obtain and analyze field date.  Establish direction for cost-effective resolution of problems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in an industrial environment.
• Requires a strong plant engineering background and design/build experience.
• Must have a BS degree in engineering (BSME or BSMET preferred but other disciplines accepted with relevant work experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated project management experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience using a CAD system (preferably AutoCAD).
• Must be able to organize large projects and take the lead role of the in design, procurement, and start-up activities for capital improvement and/or plant expansion projects.  Requires the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within the Company as well as outside vendors/suppliers
• Travel required.
