Description: Our client seeks a regional sales manager residing in the western United States to develop sales through a force of up to 10 direct representatives calling on distributors and large end user accounts.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate must have the ability to develop and implement comprehensive business plans to maximize sales and profits. The individual will manage and develop an existing sales team, working toward accomplishment of the company’s sales plan annually.
Requirements: An undergraduate degree with a minimum of 7 -10 years industrial sales management experience with human resource responsibilities including hiring and performance management. Experience in the residential and commercial construction products industry is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, communicate and work well in team/group environment at all levels. Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships and proven skills to manage, train, and develop people. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office suite) are also required. Past job experiences must have demonstrated a high level of self-responsibility. This position will require up to 50% travel.
