Description:
Our client is a leading equipment manufacturer seeking a representative to call on existing and new accounts within a multi state territory located in the midwestern United States.
Responsibilities:
- Work with distributor sales forces to increase sales to end user accounts, train distributor sales representatives.
- Become involved in associations and trade organizations to develop leads
- Present new products to customer base to gain incremental sales volume
- Relay needs of the customer to product development to guide future new product efforts
- Assist in planning national and local trade shows and sales exhibits
- Attend trade shows and participate in education and training conferences
- Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings to include idea generation for increasing sales
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- 5 + years outside sales experience, knowledge of floorcare equipment desired.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%
- Strong developer of customers and relationships
- Ability to be flexible in a dynamic market which will include long sales cycles and strong competition
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation consists of an outstanding compensation, car and benefits plan. This is a high visibility position offering growth potential into management for the successful candidate.
