Description:
Our client, a market leading manufacturing company in the Cincinnati area, is experiencing tremendous growth and has an immediate need for a proactive and experienced Industrial Sales Specialist. This position will be responsible for selling equipment solutions to current and potential customers for assigned products. This will include working closely with a dedicated team to achieve aggressive product sales growth plans and establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Establish contacts with existing and potential customers in marketplace

Become involved in associations and trade organizations to develop leads

Make presentations, handle negotiations and establish credit worthiness

Work with Customer Service to follow up and clearly communicate needs of the customer

Inform customers of new products, services and changes within industry
-
Assist in planning national and local trade shows and sales exhibits

Attend trade shows and participate in education and training conferences
-
Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings to include idea generation for increasing sales

Investigate and report on new product and/or system needs for the industry
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in related field along with 5 – 10 years of outside sales experience in the chemical and/or industrial equipment industry (i.e. valves, control systems, pumps, or smaller equipment and components).

Experience selling directly to manufacturers and distributors

Willingness and ability to travel 50 - 75%

Strong customer relationship development skills.

Ability to be flexible in a dynamic market which will include 3-12 month sales cycles and strong competition
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work with customers at multiple levels and treat them with respect
- Solid computer skills including MS PowerPoint
