Well established and growing local manufacturing client seeks a manufacturing manager with an orientation toward team building and change facilitation to lead a plant workforce of approximately 150 people.  The company is poised for continued growth.

Essential functions include:

         Direct production activities to efficiently meet targets

• Initiate cost reduction activities
• Monitor production activities to ensure quality of finished products
• Work with engineering and support staff to develop new products and process capabilities / improvements
• Participate in capital equipment justification and selection

Qualified candidates will have:

• BS degree in a technical or business discipline
• 6+ years manufacturing management experience
• Established knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and quality systems
• A management orientation toward team building and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with metalworking and machining operations is desirable.
