The company is a leader in high volume, machined components supplied on an OEM basis to the medical, aerospace and automotive markets.  We seek a candidate with working knowledge of modern quality standards and 5+ years experience heading up the quality function in a high volume machining environment.  Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the selected candidate will provide technical leadership in managing the Continuous Improvement program that ensures all manufactured products meet customer specifications and achieve consistent quality and reliability levels.

Responsibilities include:

•          Provide quality process leadership to support growing manufacturing operation conforming to ISO and TS standards and procedures.
•          Manage the quality department, implementing metrics and quality instructions and ensuring corrective action.
•          Provide team based leadership, work on projects with engineering staff regularly.
•          Interface with internal and external contacts to provide timely response to inquiries for technical support.

Qualifications:

•          10+ years of career growth in the quality leadership function, preferably in a machining environment.
•          BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
•          Six sigma black belt and ASQ certification is a plus.
•          Team based style of quality management and problem solving.
