Description:

Our client is an international manufacturer seeking a person to develop supplier selection processes and relations across company divisions.

Responsibilities:

•          Coordinate supplier selection, auditing, rating and development across company divisions.
•          Develop and implement efficient and effective processes, best practices and key performance indicators.
•          Initiate and review corrective action plans.
•          Champion the continuous improvement process.
•          Leverage purchasing power of a multi division company through aggregate purchasing processes.

Desired experience includes:

•          BS degree in engineering or related technical discipline
•          Experience in a capital equipment related industry
•          Experience in an environment which utilizes six sigma and lean principles
•          Strong project management capabilities
•          Ability to travel extensively as required, including Europe and Asia.
