Karen L. Kranak joined The Angus Group in 2002 and has spent more 30 years in executive recruitment. She specializes in Human Resources, Marketing, Sales and Finance positions as well as handling non-profit and executive leadership searches. Previous to The Angus Group, Karen was an owner and partner in a recruitment business.

Karen has a Bachelor of Business degree from Thomas More College. She is a past Board of Trustees member for the YWCA, Blue Ash Revitalization and Leadership Cincinnati. Previously she has served as Trustee for the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce Branch Advisory Board, Board Member for National Personnel Associates, Executive Committee member for the YWCA and is an alumni of Leadership Class XII. She has also been an advisor to the League of Women Voters, and is currently a member of Greater Cincinnati Human Resource Association (GCHRA) and American Marketing Association (where she is a co-leader of the B2B Shared Interest Groups). Karen currently serves on multiple committees at the YWCA as well. In her spare time she and her husband are either doing DIY projects, chasing after their border collie, or spending time with family.
